I provide couples therapy and individual therapy with a trauma focus across the state of California & Arizona. As a couples therapist and individual trauma therapist, I help people unpack, how their upbringing including, past traumas, micro and macro aggressions, culture, race, and ethnicity, may be impacting the way that they show up in their adult relationships. I help people feel more present, confident, and able to navigate their relationships from a place of understanding how the messages that they have received growing up might be impacting how they relate to the world around them. In both my work in couples therapy and individual therapy, I work with clients to unpack how their upbringing including, past traumas, micro and macro aggressions, culture, race, and ethnicity, may be impacting the struggles that they are facing. I work with clients to take a hard look into the messages that they have received, helping them identify what their values are, and how they would like to live their life. Online therapy in Phoenix
Online therapy, or teletherapy, is therapy done outside of a traditional therapy office, often from the comfort of your own home. As long as we have privacy, therapy can be done from a private office at work, a private study room at school, a safely parked car, or from the comfort of your own apartment. Research shows that teletherapy or online therapy, is just as effective as traditional therapy where you come into the office.
I am dually licensed in both Arizona and California. I have treated people across state lines, supporting them through difficult times. I am fortunate to hold both licenses as it has helped me serve people who otherwise cannot access therapy with a partner or family member due to being out of state. Or simple because they travel back and forth between Arizona and California.
Online therapy is convenient and works for people who have busy schedules, don’t have the time to deal with traffic and the commute to a therapy session at a therapy office. With online counseling or teletherapy, you can hop on to your appointment right at the start of your scheduled therapy session from your computer, laptop, or phone.
I recommend that you have a drink, some tissues, and a pair of headphones so that you can make the most of your online therapy experience. Also if you have a pet they're welcome to join and give you comfort during our sessions together. You might even catch a glimpse of my own puppers!
