I’m Elisa, a Latina couples therapist
All you want is for life to be easier, and not feel like everything is about to come crashing down. You want to feel calm, connected, and confident at home and at work. You want to be free from the constant arguments that leave you full of anger, hurt, and in tears. You don’t want to feel like an imposter. You want long-term change and to live a life 100% aligned with the values that YOU choose. Yes, it is a lot. And you might not know where to start. But I can help.
Plus, as a Latina therapist, who is the daughter of an immigrant, and who is in an interracial marriage, I have both lived experience & years of therapeutic experience addressing the very issues and pain that runs deep, like REALLY deep. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to talk about culture, systems, and complicated family and relationship dynamics.
My therapy style is warm, curious, and challenging when needed. I am conversational and aim to do more than say “hum, that’s interesting.” Getting down to root issues is my thing.
When I am not working with clients, I enjoy taking my dog on long walks, listening to my favorite podcast Ologies, or trying to perfect my latte art.

Individual Therapy
Are you wanting to break cycles and learn an easier more, peaceful way of life? I work with adults struggling with feeling like they just can’t get their life in order. I see people 100% virtually in California & Arizona for therapy.
Couples & Family Therapy
Are you over the arguments that never get resolved? It always ends in tears and shutting down. I provide online couples and adult-only family therapy in California & Arizona helping people find the words that heal wounds and restore love. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
The Process
Consultation
After filling out my contact form, I will get back to you to set up a time to speak for about 10-15 minutes. During this call, we will explore if I am the right fit to help you reach your goals. The first consultation is free.
Intake
Next we schedule our intake session. I will set up your online portal where forms and sessions can be accessed. A card must be on file prior to our first session. Our first session is all about exploring what is going on and how therapy can help. If for whatever reason we decide that this is not the right fit, I will give your appropriate referrals.
On-going
We will come up with measurable goals to get you the life you deserve. Therapy can make things feel worse in the beginning. This work isn’t easy and I will support you along the way. On average I see people for 6-9 months.

On average I see people between 6-9 months. It really depends on your goals and the level of work that you would like to accomplish!

No, I do not take insurance. My fee is $165 for individuals and $185 for couples. (other rates may apply for longer sessions and intensives). I can offer a superbill which will allow you to make a claim with your insurance for a possible reimbursement. Please be sure to consult with your insurance.

No, I do not write these letters. But I can connect you to resources who may be able to support you.

No, I cannot prescribe you medication. I am not a medical doctor. However, if it is something that we believe is needed, I can make recommendations to providers in our community that I trust.
